Join the Loong team - be a GameMaster!

Hello community,

In order to properly support a game like Loong, cooperative volunteers are needed to help us. So if you are a keen fan of our game and you also fancy taking a look behind the scenes, then there's only one thing for it: become a Gamemaster (GM) for Loong!

What is a Gamemaster?

Gamemasters are players who voluntarily offer their services and their private time in service of the community. They are testers, mediators, and voices all in one who can, depending on their rank inside the team, receive various, specific tasks:
  • Mediation of disputations between players
  • Security of a certain behavior in the game (chat)
  • Collection, testing and forwarding of bugs
  • Collection and forwarding of feedback from the community
  • Planning and implementation of events (in-game)
  • Support regarding game adjustments, new content, ...
  • Active support of players with questions and problems
The Gamemaster is, of course, supported throughout all of these activities, be it by other GMs or the gamigo Community Management. During their work they receive background information as well as access to our test area, where bugs and various game situations can be simulated.

Which requirements do I have to meet?

As Gamemaster you should play Loong or have played it and be able to invest at least 2 hours a day / 8 hours a week in it. For our discussions, that take place on a regular basis, you will need a confident command of the English language. Alongside a minimum age of 18 and a good way of speaking there is an important component that absolutely has to be met: A lot of fun with the game and communication with other players.

What do I get out of becoming a Gamemaster?

You will be an important part of the community and actively represent its interests. Through your contribution you have the direct opportunity to improve the game for yourself and, above all, for other players. You get a view into the functioning of a publisher and into things that are planned for the future. In addition, should you be interested in the workings of the gaming industry or be seeking a career in support and maintenance, then this job as Gamemaster will most certainly open doors for you.

If we have managed to grab your interest, then apply at: loong.en@gamigo.com .

In order to give us a proper impression of yourself it would be helpful to mention the following things:
  • Why do you want to become a Gamemaster?
  • Where do you come from / What languages can you speak?
  • How long have you been playing Loong?
  • In which other MMOs do you have experience?
  • Have you already been a GM? If yes, then where and when?
  • What are you called in the game / forum?
Please do not just copy the list above and add a few words as answer. This list is just a basis for your application but is not enough to get accepted. We would like to get to know you better with your application already and it will also be used as a first hint on your language skills.

Looking forward to seeing your application!

Till next time,
the Loong team

Good evening everyone,

We'd like to inform you that we are currently not looking for new team members. I know that there is a need of GMs in game, however increasing the team size hasn'T any priority right now. As soon as that changes again we will inform you. Thanks a lot for your understanding.
